Boston Post Mortem: Marvel Puzzle Quest Post Mortem
Monday, July 14, 2014, 07:00pm

This month’s Boston Post Mortem is Monday, July 14th at Moksa in Cambridge and will begin at 7pm.

This is a special night because we are having talks from our very own Tom Lin (Demiurge Studios) andTrevor Stricker (Disco Pixel).  We are also trying out a new location.  I repeat, this month’s Boston Post Mortem will be held at Moksa in Cambridge.  Also please note that this location is 18+, sorry kids :-( .

Our first presentation will be by Tom Lin, who will be giving a talk entitled ‘Vivisection: Post-mortem on the Post-Launch of Marvel Puzzle Quest’

Launching a game isn’t easy. Unless you compare it to supporting and making changes to a live product!Tom Lin from Demiurge Studios goes in depth with some of the tough decisions and major POST-launch shifts in Marvel Puzzle Quest, a top-50 grossing game on iOS.

Our second presentation will be by Trevor Stricker, who will be giving a talk entitled ‘Bang on the screen: Jungle Rumble Post Mortem’

Jungle Rumble is a game the player controls with rhythm. It’s a bit of a departure from a traditional rhythm game. Trevor Stricker from Disco Pixel will go over development from a playful prototype, through soul crushing playtesting, to being featured on the front page of the app store.
